Purchased new 5 years ago, Serial Number 9270. The Retail List Price for this beauty was $2,995.00 (USD) It's a Classic Series Full Body Cutaway with Element Onboard System. I've performed with it on stages & in studios from Tamworth to Branson. It's a well-looked-after, Rock Solid, piece of kit, with crystal clear sound that rings true from gentle acoustic to rocking blues. The All-Graphic Rainsongs are impervious to temperature & humidity changes. The soundboard will not belly, shrink or crack with changes in the environment. I've found this to be invaluable in real world performace conditions, even in the tropical heat of QLD & New Caledonia. The action is very low and easy to play all the way up the neck. The L.R. Baggs Pickups are world class, with Treble, Bass, Volume, Phase Inversion and Notch Filter controls. The selling price includes the original hard flightcase. This has taken some knocks but has done its job protecting this amazing guitar. Comes complete with original paperwork and even the Rainsong Pick. There are tons of incredible reviews about these from amateurs to top pros on the net. Check them out and you'll know that it is one of the best guitars on the planet. With brand new strings and I'll toss in the strap, you can rock from the moment it arrives.
Condition: Excellent all around condition with a few minor scratches and tiny dents on the front, only visible close-up. There are also minor belt buckle scratches on the back. All of these are cosmetic and do not, in any way, affect the overall beauty or sound.
Delivery notes: I'm on the Mid North Coast, NSW so will ship from there. The option is that I will be in Brisbane next weekend and can bring it with for pick-up.
Rainsong Description: "The WS1000 is a wonderfully versatile guitar. Combining the best qualities of large and small bodied guitars, it is ideally suited for a variety of musical situations. A large, deep chamber, gives the WS strong projection and rich bass. The narrow waist and tight upper bout allow for a ringing treble, good balance and clear definition of individual notes. Overall, the WS1000 is impeccably balanced. The shapely curves and light weight make the WS a comfortable guitar to cradle or stand with. The extra deep cutaway encourages playing up the fretboard."
